My Journey
As of a young age I’ve always been very active, from playing 3on3 street basketball till sundown to playing for the Belgian National Ice Hockey team till the age of 18. I moved to London in 2012 and one of the first things I did was buy a bicycle, this gave me the freedom to explore London on my terms. Since I’m a designer and sit often behind a screen, I make sure that I keep moving, this can be either going for a run or ride on the weekend or going to the gym to work on my cardio and body strength.
The reason why I moved to London in 2012 was because of an opportunity working at Ozwald Boateng on Savile Row as a graphic designer.
I swiftly adjusted to the demands of a small team, taking on diverse responsibilities such as overseeing brand aesthetics, creating packaging design, developing presentations, coordinating freelance designers and photographers, and even embarking on trips to New York and Moscow for fashion week .
In 2013, I started my freelance career at Burberry whilst launching our luxury footwear brand, which we presented during London Fashion Week. Since then, I’ve worked with exceptional companies such as Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Tom Dixon, BMW, and many more. Throughout this path, I worked on my skills as a designer, an art director, photographer, being on set during photoshoots, and directing videos while visiting factories in Italy.
This all with the end goal of fully understanding the process of positioning and growing a business.
