J.W. Anderson
& Ian David Baker
A Celebration of Nostalgia and Youth Culture.
JW Anderson introduces an exclusive collaboration with British photographer, artist, and illustrator Ian David Baker. Inspired by Baker’s nostalgic work, which Jonathan Anderson first discovered in a small magazine years ago, the partnership brings Baker’s distinctive imagery to a curated collection of fashion and lifestyle products.
Core pieces include scarves, t-shirts, hoodies, knitwear, tote bags, and a blanket, each featuring raw-edged cotton appliqué prints of Baker’s photographs. A unique highlight is a selection of 20th-century patchwork quilts personally chosen by Anderson, also adorned with photographic appliqué.
Additionally, a limited-edition book of Baker’s artwork and photographs, curated by Anderson, is available in a run of just 500 copies. Complementing the collection are the Candyfloss Boy print poster, original photographic prints, and a concertina set of six photographic postcards.
Known for capturing 1980s teenage youth culture and London street life, Ian David Baker’s work offers a compelling glimpse into the protests and parades of the era, making this collaboration a perfect blend of fashion, history, and art.
